![]() ![]() The only rub is that the "S" meter reading is very "stingy" on AM. (IN T10 end, OUT C122/D12 end.) Dak Mark X only: Cut gray shielded cable connecting T10/C121 to CFl/D12. Cut this wire and install the CG in series. Might there be a component that could be bad in the meter circuit on AM that I am overlooking? I love using this old radio, it's a nice clean vintage unit, and it talks quite nicely. A wire marked C runs from the secondary terminal of T10 not going to C111/R88, to a foil pad containing one end of C122 and D12, near T13. I did a receive alignment, but didn't really change anything for the meter movement on AM. On SSB, the meter reads as it should, with audio clear and loud. The receive audio is great, clear and loud. The trouble is that on AM, when receiving a strong close range signal, the meter shows only about 3-4 "S" units. The Upper Side Band (USB) and Lower Side Band (LSB) channels are mostly used on channel 36, 37, mostly 38, 39 and 40, now a days. How ever the clock works and so dose the meter as well as the lights. Both radio have scratches and scuffs. The 1000B will need the AM SSB switch will need to be cleaned, the USB dose not seem to work. Both radios when turned on will NOT RECIVE until the top covers are taped on with fingertips. ![]() I didn't really see any board number anywhere on it, but if I can locate a board number, I'll post it here on this thread. 'Sidetalk CB 1000B' Hopefully it will work ok for you as most radios at that age have some sort of filter capacitor problems. The best way to read these books is to download them with the PDF option.Cobra 2000 Gtl Owners Manual, Samson Txm20 Owner Manual, Aroma Arc-914b Rice Cooker Manual, Emerson Drives Manual, Dcr Hc96 Manual Download, Honeywell T Stat Manual, Isuzu Frr 600 Manual. Pace Sidetalk 1000B + Pace Sidetalk 1000M. I cleaned it up, did a tuneup on it, and lined up all the crystals so they are on frequency, for the most part (this radio goes up to 27.605). I recently acquired an old Pace Sidetalk 1000B 23 channel AM/SSB base from a friend. ![]()
